Celebrating Mother’s Day

Mother’s Day is a holiday most of us celebrate. Some celebrate their birth moms, some their adoptive moms, stepmoms, and some celebrate the mother they have chosen. Grandmothers and aunts play a huge role as well. Most of us honor more than one of these women, and I believe you can never have too much love and support.

Regardless of how these women came into our lives, they are there to love us, to nurture us, to care about us. They listen, give opinions, and help guide us. They show their love by always wanting what is best for us and help us find our way.

And, many of us are mothers. What a joy it is when those that you pour your heart into want to tell you how special you are and how thankful they are to call you Mom. It feels like our hearts will explode!

Wherever you fall in this spectrum of women in your life, I hope you enjoyed your Mother’s Day. Remember though, there is never a bad time to reach out and connect with those special people who mean so much.
