I’m sharing two recipes today. One is a “diet” Shamrock Shake, the other cancels out the diet shake because it’s Irish Cream Brownies. Enjoy them both!

Shamrock Shake: Thanks to Hungry Girl for this low fat and nutritious recipe!

Ingredients:
3/4 cup unsweetened vanilla breeze almond milk
6 tablespoons vanilla whey powder
1/3 cup spinach leaves (yes, really!)
1/8 tsp. peppermint extract
10 ice cubes

Blend at high speed in blender until smooth.

Yields 1 serving at 133 calories and 6 carbs.
Now to cancel out the Shamrock Shake with these delicious brownies:

Irish Cream Brownies:

1 box fudge brownie mix, bake per box instructions

Ganache:
5 oz. bittersweet cocoa
3 tbsp. heavy cream
1 tsp butter
1 tbsp. Bailey’s Irish Cream

In small saucepan, break up and heat chocolate. Add other ingredients and stir until smooth.

Frosting:
1 1/2 cup powdered sugar
2 tbsp. soft butter
1/4 cup Bailey’s Irish Cream

Combine and stir until smooth.

Dip brownie tops in ganache. When dry, frost with frosting. Garnish with green sprinkles and chocolate chips.
